Dave and I are headed to Denver this weekend to spend some time with Laura and Joe, ski a little, day drink grey-out in honor of St. Patty’s Day, and hopefully not inflict any physical violence on Joe. You know what I miss about Laura the most? Laura is the type of friend who when you say “ I feel like X happens because of Y and Z,” she responds with a “Yeah, that makes sense,” no matter how ridiculous the idea/thought. Katie responds to some of my insights like this but it’s just not the same as when Laurel and I lived together and she would hang on my pull-up bar while I sat in my desk chair in my room and talked about the world (I know, there’s a lot to take in from that last sentence).
